Ride Bike For Bobby and raise money for two fantastic causes
On November 10th 2012 you have a chance to be part of history. Robbie Elliott and Phil Gray will be completing the final leg of their epic 3,500 mile charity bike ride from Portugal in aid The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
Robbie and Phil have decided that before marking the end of their challenge, it would be fitting to go back to where it all began – their very first 33 mile training ride in Northumberland. The scenic route was the first that Phil took Robbie on to begin their preparation for their mammoth challenge.
Robbie and Phil will be departing from Leeds at 5am on the morning of 10th November to cycle to Newcastle where they will complete the final 115-mile leg of their challenge. However, they don’t want to do this on their own, so would like to invite 500 riders to join them on this symbolic training ride through Northumberland! Ride startsfrom Ponteland Leisure Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne.
