National Series Support for Youth and Junior Riders

In addition to regional support for the Inter-Regional Championships, the North East Go-Ride clubs are making fund raising efforts with the specific aim of providing a contribution to support riders’ national series aspirations. The clubs are not obliged to offer any funding but are committed to the fund raising efforts thorough voluntary club activities

Aim: To provide a financial contribution and coaching support to give more young riders in the North East region the opportunity to compete in National Series events, which will give valuable experience to those with aspirations to be selected for an Inter Regional Championship.

The following support will be offered to selected riders for a maximum of 3 National Series events per year

Note: This offer is not given to an individual rider for a full season, the clubs aim to support as many different riders as possible with support being offered on an event by event basis throughout the year

  • Access to coaching sessions specifically to aid preparation for national series events, in some cases these sessions will be additional to the cluster sessions already in place
  • Access to Neutral Service Equipment for North East riders, present at supported National Series Events
  • Support from Club Coaches on race day
  • Financial Contribution to Entry Fees and Fuel
